"Fear" Fiction of the Mind: The Secret to an Empowered Life (Paradox Book 1) Author Interview

Fear” Fiction of the Mind, looks like a great start to a wonderful series. How far along is book two?

  • The second book is from “Fear” to “Power” and is expected to release next year. The book will provide in-depth exercises to move from fear to power.

What do you think makes a great self-help book?

  • The self help book should be able to empower people to make a difference in their life. The book should not be a good read but a guide to empower people in the area they are dealing with.

What inspired you when writing “Fear” Fiction of the Mind?
  • My personal mission it to empower people. I have vision of the world where people are empowered and live their life with freedom and Ease. A world where people are able to live their full potential. I hope the book is able to help steer some in that directions.
  • The book is written with a purpose that all people are empowered to live a life free from fear and suffering.

When did you decide to become a writer?
  • From my school days, I have been writing for my school magazines. I had this idea to change the world and writing was one day to communicate the change to a large number of people.
When writing “Fear” Fiction of the Mind, did anything stand out as particularly challenging?
  • My own fears. My belief that I should have overcome all my own fears before I can publish the book. However, I realized that it’s a journey and not a destination. We need to learn to live with the Paradox that we are automated to have fears and we have awareness to declare them fiction. It is a moment by moment decision to choose the empowering context.

How did you come up with the concepts and ideas in “Fear” Fiction of the Mind?
  • I always look for ways to help others and empower people around me. In dealing with my own fears from teen age, I learned a lot from different books, eastern and western scriptures and finally the key to move from acknowledgement, acceptance and awareness in the domain of fear.
As the awareness helped me take actions in many areas of life, I decided to share the tools with others who might be getting stopped by fears and keeping their dreams from taking off.

What do you like to do when not writing?
  • I like to take a walk in the nature, sit and mediate for long time and read.
Why do you question Power of positive thinking?
  • Positive thinking assumes that positive thinking is better than negative thinking and that positive thinking can make an impact. Although, there is no doubt that thoughts are powerful and produce results, it is not always effective. Our default way of being is survival that requires fear and negative thinking. We first need to acknowledge and accept that we have fears and then we need to increase our awareness to that that we are is witness to the negative thinking. Once we can get to a place of no identity, we can start to use affirmations powerfully. As long as positive thinking is compensating for a weakness, it will not give us from the fictional weakness. We first need to see the weakness is our own creation and then we can transform the weakness into strength.
What is the process to eliminate fears that stops us from taking actions?
  • It is a process of discovery and not a set principle of truths. We will discover that we are driven by automation and have lost the keyboard to our own mind. We will see the survival for what it is and observe the pitfalls of the survival. Once we see the paradox that we are not in survival but the one witnessing the life in survival, we realize that life is actually nothing but our own perceptions, our own thoughts and our own actions. Once we start to take responsibility for our life, we start to move from fear to power.
