I Cook For Santa Claus looks like a great cook book.  Can you tell us a little about it?

Santa Claus is special to all of us because we all have individual relationships with him, and he fulfills all our wishes in different ways. So making him feel special should not be on a general note but on a personal one. You should prepare something special to make him feel good, just as he made you feel during the year. What better way to make Santa Claus feel special than to fill his tummy with a good tasty meal? This way, we should not just try to fill his tummy with any meal. We should try to make something special for the different wishes we have for him.

We have to make different tasty meals for Santa Claus. First, we will look at some snacks that will prepare Santa Claus for the main tasty meal. Then, we will try some new recipes to impress him. They are easy to cook and also taste delicious.

Making a meal for Santa Claus would require us to make something special and different from the regular meals we make during the year; it's a special date with Santa Claus and happens only once a year. So we have to make it special with the meal we would prepare for Santa.

In this book, we would discover new, easy, quick, delicious recipes which even the little ones would love and want to prepare.

Here's what you'll find in this book:

  • Lots of recipes to make for Santa Claus before he comes down the chimney,
  • Cookies, meatballs, pies, tacos, and many other yummy dishes!
  • Fun to no end (and possibly some food splattering in the kitchen-sorry parents),
  • The heartwarming memory of the whole family gathered to cook and eat Christmas dishes together,
  • Quality time to spend in the company of your family and beloved friends,

Any plans to turn it into a series?

Yes: the series is programmed as : “I cook for … “

The kitchen must be designed from the start for the person who will consume it. How hungry is he? Is he a child or an adult? How much time does he have? What foods is he likely to already know? What foods is he likely not to consume? Is it possible that he follows religious prescriptions about food?

“There is nothing more rewarding than cooking for a purpose; for a person to whom you have decided to dedicate your time and a little effort and give them a gift, even to yourself.”

This is the true philosophy of Anna’s cooking: “I cook for …” means “I give my passion to ….”

What inspired the idea for your book?

Since childhood, Anna has had a great passion for cooking and experimenting with new recipes. When she was little, she always enjoyed helping her mother prepare lunch every Sunday; she always traveled a lot. Anna accumulated valuable knowledge and skills. Then she would always attempt to create new fantastic recipes.

Thanks to the stability provided to Anna by her former job, where she used to work as a lawyer. She got enough time to do proper planning and remain stable. She has now become a successful cookbook author.

During her time as a cookbook author, Anna discovered that cooking is not just about preparing food; cooking can be much more fun when done with a purpose, motivation, and passion. Anna believes that there should be a purpose behind every meal that would help make the cooking process much more fun and ultimately make the meal taste better.

Anna is also spreading the opinion that a lot of bonding can be done in the kitchen, preparing meals, and eating. She believes that when people get involved in preparing a meal, it helps a family adopt the idea of joint decision-making, which helps increase the bond within that family.

During Anna's discovery, she came up with her brand, "I cook for….” This brand helps define the purpose of each meal being prepared.

Anna's motto is: “I cook for ….”

She is well known for her brand and believes that every meal made should have a purpose, which should be the reason to choose.

“From the first ingredient you put on the workbench, cooking must always start with the assumption that someone will have to eat the thing you are preparing. Cooking is always for someone, and that must be your starting point. Even if I prepare similar recipes, there is a big difference between cooking for myself, my children, my family, a stranger, or two people. The dishes may be the same, but the cooking will be different. That’s the whole idea”.

The recipe books often treat the dishes as bricks all the same. Stacked on top of each other, they form the book. But with the same bricks, you can build a church or a strip club, and these are not the same.

How did you come up with the title to your book?

One of the best ways to get close to your kids is through cooking. Cooking can be very adventurous. This is true t because cooking is a continuous activity, and we always want to explore new recipes. We eat in one minute, and in the next, we get hungry again. You can make it a family tradition to try out something new anytime you want to cook during Christmas.

Making a meal for Santa Claus would require us to make something special and different from the regular meals we make during the year; it's a special date with Santa Claus and happens only once a year. So we have to make it special with the meal we would prepare for Santa.

What will readers get out of your book?

Family cooking time is important, especially in building a relationship with your children. You should try to get your kids involved in cooking because that is the primary place they learn how to cook; not having them get involved at home makes it difficult for them to learn cooking. One of the favorite ways to bond with the family is through meals; many discussions are going on in the kitchen when preparing meals and dining while eating together. Meal time is the family's bonding time to eat together after spending the whole day in different locations. It is also important that when you choose a meal to prepare, you prepare food that contains enough nutritional content to give enough energy for the family to get through the day.

What part of the book was the most fun to write?

PART ONE

SANTA CLAUS IS IN A HURRY

We are all very certain that Santa is a very busy person. He always has many things to cover, and as such, he can rarely stay for long in a single location. He does what he has to and immediately takes a flight. He is always in a hurry because he has a lot of places to visit during his time with us, and we can't keep him waiting for a long period at our place. There are a lot of things that Santa would love to do at our place, so cooking should not take most of the time. But we still have to prepare delicious meals that are wonderful enough to give Santa's taste buds a never forgetting blooming experience.

Whenever we celebrate and prepare delicious meals for Santa Claus, we do it quickly, yet achieve a wonderful taste.

Did anything stick out as particularly challenging when writing I Cook For Santa Claus?

To avoid putting too many recipes. I had many in my head but they didn't all fit in one book. But there will surely be others.

What do you like to do when not writing?

Cooking and stay with my family
