Poems About Love looks like a great book. What can you tell us about it?

Thank you. The aim of the book is to address a variety of modern situations - some good, some challenging, some happy, some sad and how that intertwines with falling in love, being in love and the challenges of breaking up with a partner.

Any plans to turn it into a series?
I'm waiting to see the reaction to this first collection but if it proves to be popular then yes.

What poem or section did you have the most fun writing?
Actually I enjoyed writing all of the poems. They were written during 2022 and very much depended upon my mood on any given day. Being in a relationship I find some days are better than others (and I'm sure my partner will say the same!)

What inspired the idea for the book?
There seemed to be a gap in the market to be honest. Obviously there are many books of poetry but not too many that have a contemporary view on the highs and lows of being in love.

Did anything stick out as particularly challenging when writing Poems About Love?
Finding inspiration can be challenging and committing to the work. But otherwise, I found it an enjoyable experience.

What do you like to do when not writing?
I love reading, writing, travelling, walking our dog, good food and wine, time with friends and family.
